Asked often, answered plainly
Is Minos live right now?
No. Minos is live on Elysium testnet: the contracts are deployed, and launches and trading are open there now with testnet HYPE, which has no real value. Mainnet comes after the testnet period, on the dates we post here and on our X. If a site asks you for real HYPE today and calls itself Minos, it is not us.
Can the team pull the liquidity or change the fees later?
No. The liquidity position is burned; nobody can withdraw it, including us. Fees are set in the contracts, not a dashboard. The admin key can pause trading in an emergency, and it holds the few settings listed on the admin powers page. It cannot move user or curve funds.
What is HYPE?
HYPE is the token everything on Elysium is priced in. It is the money of the chain, the way ETH is the money of Ethereum. Prices, raises and fees on Minos are all in HYPE. On testnet it is free from the faucet and worth nothing.
Is this real money?
Not yet. This site runs on testnet: the HYPE here is test HYPE with no value, and no real funds move. Mainnet follows the Elysium launch, and we will say so plainly when it does.
Can I lose money on a token here?
On mainnet, yes: token prices on a curve go down as well as up, and a token that never graduates can fall close to zero. Never put in more than you can afford to lose. On testnet, nothing is real, so nothing can be lost.
What is the curve, in one line?
A pricing rule in a contract. Every buy pushes the price up a little, every sell pushes it down a little, and the contract itself is always the counterparty. No order book, no waiting for a buyer.
What does graduation mean?
When a token has collected 150 HYPE on its curve (net of fees), it leaves the curve and gets its own open-market pool, seeded at the final curve price. The liquidity position is burned, so the pool cannot be pulled.
What is staking a pass?
Parking a MINOS PASS in the staking contract. It stays yours and unstaking returns it. While it is staked, it earns a share of platform revenue and turns on the pass trading fee.
What does it cost to launch a token?
Nothing but network gas: no creation, listing or graduation fee. A creator earns half of the trade fee on every curve trade from the first one, 0.50% of each trade, and keeps earning after graduation through the router fee.
